OUR MISSION
Masjid Al Musfireen & Muhaajir Islamic Center's mission is to serve Allah by fulfilling the obligation of the Qu'ran and to follow the sunnah of The Prophet (may Peace and Blessing be Upon Him). Imam Abdur Rahmaan is a father, community resident, and advocate whom is unceasingly diligent in effecting a positive change in the Englewood community. He's worked with Chicago Public Schools (Gage Park and Harper High School, Dumas Elementary, and numerous others) as a vendor since 2005 by way of his Self Starter Program teaching students and parents uses of multimedia through computer technology (Studio Recording, Sound Engineering, Graphic Design, etc). Masjid Al Musafireen & Muhaajir Islamic Center will house a learning center for the youth, feed the hungry, provide guidance for new & non Muslims and those continuing to seek knowledge, as well as offer mentoring programs, host health seminars, facilitate family workshops, be a source for referrals, and a host of other benefits to the community.

Turning Interest Into Action
Here at Muhaajir Islamic Center, we’re committed to investing our resources to achieve our cause of bringing about positive change in the Englewood area. Since 2010, we’ve been in the works to establish a site to support our community members in a variety of ways while maintaining an influence throughout until we've reached our goal. Years prior our last place of operations was located on 6523 S. Morgan on Chicago's South side as shown in the pamphlet, but unfortunately we had to relocate. In hopes of staying in the area we are currently in the process of acquiring a building on 1424 W 61st St as our location.
